Operation Arthroscopy most recently traveled to Cuba from March 26th to April 4th for the 7th Annual International Hip, Knee and Shoulder Symposium. Our group of 22 doctors and 7 nurses from 5 different countries performed 40 surgeries in Havana, Ciego de Avila and Santiago de Cuba. We again brought with us thousands of dollars worth of donated arthroscopic and surgical equipment. Dr. Stetson also had the honor of being awarded Professor Emeritus of the Cuban Orthopaedic Society, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a visiting surgeon, by Dr. Rodrigo Cambras of Havana, Cuba. Dr. Bojan Zoric was appointed a Professor of the Cuban Orthopaedic Society.
